Quite a while ago. And police and fire precepts still went up if I remember rightly

Durham council tax was frozen for a few years and has been going up 2%+ annually the past few. I don't have the figures to hand.

Water went from..
£491.06 in 2017 to...
£511.14 in 2018 to...
£529.74 in 2019

a 4% leap followed by 3.6%.
And between 2017 and 2019 it's a 7.87% increase if my maths is correct.

Wages have gone up 0%.

I get the shift in the personal allowance and that just about covers the extra going out on council tax I think.
