just seen on Future_Sunderland instagram feed that it's been bought from the council. Anyone have any ideas of plans for it?? developing that would be a massive boost for Sunniside!

He's got a good track record with redevelopment in Sunniside. All culture related stuff so will be something decent rather than a doss house. Probably combined office/studio space based on his other stuff.*bump*

Since the Norfolk Hotel shut, the local off license (Ray's) - is still like a magnet for the old residents.
Opposite to that is the pharmacy/druggie- needle place where they get their methadone, and then into Rays for their booze, and then that's them for the day.
Causes no end of trouble.
Good job they don't bother the regular good folk of the Burton House.
