Leading on from the Everton ticket offer, would it be feasible to price every match at £10 for adults and kids?
Most people now suggest that ticket money i chicken feed compared to corporate and SKY money so could we be the club that gives football back to the fans?

No cos that would make it cheaper than season tickets therefore unfair on people like myself

We all want to see the stadium filled every game.

However, people take on all kinds of commitments, especially when they have kids, and won't drop them just for one game ........ the club really need to have a concerted campaign that makes it difficult for dads to say no to their kids.

Get them in, make them feel special and the other activities will fade into oblivion, especially after days like Sunday.

its not exactly chicken feed. i bet they get about £1m per home game in gate receipts.

They could.

But they won't.

Imagine though if we did....all of football ( fans anyway) would love us if we were the catalyst for change.
We could pressure others by charging their fans what they charge ( yes I know you cannot do it but some rules are made to be broken)

They would have to reduce season ticket prices to about £120 to make this fair

Why?
I am sure ST holders wouldn't mind £10 a game too, the advantage is not having to buy match by match.

perhaps £150 - £175 but don't wait until next season to do the £10 a match ticket - make football affordable now!

It would be great, but just cannot see it.

Football is expensive and sadly for me it will stay that way. You're right in what you say and rather than giving Rooney £200,000 per week clubs should be forced to make it affordable.

They should look at football top to bottom, wage caps, transfer fees etc. Make it so more than 4 bloody teams can win the title (NFL springs to mind).

But again they will do fuck all.

Sky helped save football back in the early 90's but now football is so far up its own arse its scary.

Yeah but season ticket holders should be rewarded with paying less than the others

As a season ticket holder, I would be delights to be charged £10 per game, the same as the rest. This scheme is about equality, not exclusivity.

I find the American system to be very manufactured.

supporter groups could drive this forward bud sadly there are still some people who can afford £50 per ticket and will pay it so tickets likely to increase

clubs also need to consider charging a bit more based on the core who will pay more - this could create the same amount of revenue with half there paying £100 per ticket
