Could Sticking With Moyes Save Us?

Before everyone starts I'm not suggesting he's working miracles. But I'm going to argue it may be worth sticking to our guns.

It's well known in football that sticking with a manager generally gets better results. Crystal Palace recently changed their manager and results have actually got worse - with a supposed 'relegation specialist'. Leicester have just done the same and who's to say it will improve them? They could start doing even worse for all we know.

And before everyone jumps in with 'it needs to be the right manager' I read a stat on here today that since we lost in the FA Cup to Everton under O'Neil we have won 40 of 185 league games!!! This surely shows that even if you don't like him or are unsure, it is unfair to pin the blame on Moyes - because frankly we're not really doing anything different to what we normally do - regardless of the result tomorrow.

Hope so Eddie lad

Only read the title but no. We're down. Had our 9 lives and then some - I've already accepted relegation now. The team, squad and manager aren't good enough.

Another pasting tomorrow and then remain glued to the bottom of the table until the season ends. What happens longer term is anyone's guess. I personally don't see him as being capable of getting us promoted.

I have a bad feeling about this season and, if it happens, it will be tough next year due to our finances. But I'd rather start with Moyes next season whatever league we're in, and give him a crack from pre-season onwards to mould a team.
Spot on

I wouldn't have Moyes in the Championship like, Premiership yes but if relegated I would look at someone else.
