Could it turn nasty on Tuesday?.

I don’t understand people, the “we need to give the new manager time” rubbish... over 500 games managed has proven he isnt a good manager and simply isnt the right man for us. The way he set the team up yesterday was garbage, we need a proper manager in, not some chancer on the cheap.

So after one game are you suggesting we sack him ?

Parky will get plenty of time, i have every faith in our fans to support.

It's Stewart Donald who is next in the firing line unfortunately. Everything he done well in the first 7/8 months has been undone in my opinion.
Its not Parky's fault he got hired....is it dons ?or is it hill who will be the next casualty to fall on his sword if it all gans tits up?

I think the main problem is the players we have let go mainly due to financial considerations. The players we have replaced them with are in the main inferior to those that have left. When you think about it, we were not hat good with the likes of Cattermole, Oviedo, Mathews. James and Honeyman I the team. So with lesser players, it’s hardly surprising that we are struggling. We can only hope that the prospective investment is forthcoming and even though we are constrained through financial fair play, we can bring in a bit of quality in January. My worry is that it may be too late by that stage.

I honestly dont know what to do, Ross was a terrible appointment and was given far too much time, Parkinson is another terrible appointment, a third season in league one looks nailed on.

Hopefully we are taken over and Donald is removed from making any future decisions.

Sad thing is it looks like hes here to stay

No one should be hassling the manager, it’s not his fault Donald and Meth didn’t recruit adequately in the summer and decided to keep Ross after the play off final. He’s no ones choice as manager, uninspiring and disappointing, but he didn’t hire himself.
Can’t blame the bloke for taking the job. It’s the muppets who hired him who should get any flak being dished out. I just hope this investment comes off as this last month has done my nut in

I think there’s a need for a few home truths.
This board is not representative of the supporters that attend the home games. On here it’s mainly people that like to express an opinion, by the very nature of it. Not all supporters are “fuming”
The current squad of players are actually bang average League 1 standard and not any better than other teams despite assertions that we have the best squad.
Because the facilities, ground and history is “big club” the visiting players and fans raise their games against us, but our team and manager are not “big club” so we should have no expectation to simply turn up and win any game in League 1.
The manager has been here 5 minutes.

Anything other than support on Tuesday will be massively counter productive.

The shite that gets posted on here & the constant negative mutterings is far from representative of the match going supporters.

If anything this place has a bad reputation when ever I mention it to regular match going folk. We are in a terrible position but as already posted, those attending on Tuesday will get behind the players and new manager.

Adding more negativity to our awful position will only compound our situation. Perversely I find when things aren't great, and our backs are a agiant the wall as a club the hardcore supporter base are more vocal in backing the team at home.

Reading the place attendances will drop to sub 20k, if we don't go up this year. When in fact we'll still average 25k+, everytime the club needs it's supporters to keep us going, they'll be there. If others want to stay away, rant and moan on the internet than that's their choice.

You can't do anything except suck it up.
He's here now so deserves to be given a bit chance and time.
Hopefully he takes us up regardless of takeover/investment.
Too early to tell yet.
Can't write him off after one game.
Although i dont reckon he will get anywhere near as long as Ross if we're struggling.

I don’t think there’d be any mass protests if we lose on Tuesday night.
Most of the game attending fans have seen so many disappointments they are immune to histrionics and just shrug it off with sad acceptance.
For what it’s worth I think even six days into a new managerial appointment we’ll have too much for Tranmere.
2-1 Sunderland in a scrappy game
