Could it turn nasty on Tuesday?.

This board isn't representative, you're right. Plenty of people who go to games are "fuming" as well however. I know I'm pissed off with how we have progressed since last season, the people I go to the game are as well. The bairn went to Wycombe with his mates yesterday, they all sound pissed off, there are pissed off people in the pubs before the game and around us at the match. Sometimes the "this board isn't representative" line is used to almost suggest that every match going fan is fairly happy with us being seemingly stuck in league one when that's far from the case. I'd say the match going fans are a lot more patient than some on here, or they know not to voice displeasure too much in the ground because you're right that it can be counter productive. There is a lot of anger though, I'm just hoping it won't come to the surface whilst we're trying to get investment in and whilst a new manager finds his feet
Thanks for the reasoned response, I forgot to add the obligatory forum ā€œtin hat onā€ !!
I acknowledge the amount of pissed off fans attending the games , and they have more right to be so than the non attendees .

Who are we playing?
Honestly, I don’t know either, it’s just too bad to be bothered anymore. For the first time in 62 years, I am past caring. It still hangs on but it’s a long time since I had a satisfying weekend due to football with the exception of what seems like two days under Allardyce.

I couldn’t even be arsed to put the stream on yesterday it’s shite, game miles behind, I put it on the radio
Havent done that for ages. A lot of it is an age thing. The state of football in general. The state of us.

Enjoyed the rugby and cricket this year more than anything the football has served up for either us or other teams in years.

Of course i want us to be as good as we can be. But a defeat doesn't piss me off the same way a win doesn't thrill me.

More of a habit for me these days.

This could be related to the fact that Cattermole is no longer in the dressing room. Who is our leader now?
There are 5 players who have captained their previous clubs so dressing room should be great. Let’s see how the next couple of games look. Need to win on Tuesday but also need a performance

Going not just by the mood on here but other forums, social media and my interactions with other fans who don’t post on internet you get the feeling something is bubbling to the surface and should we go behind on Tuesday it might just boil ower.

I guess news of the investment might bring a few on side for a bit longer but you definitely get the feeling of an undercurrent of emotions coming to a boil.
What the new manager has had 2 games!!!

If anything the fans should turn against the players

The manager only been here less than a week

It's the players who are a disgrace

There's no passion no fight they can't even do the basics of football right

Surely your not suggesting Parkinson out already

He's had less than a week

It's the players we should turn our anger towards it's them not doing their job no one else

The buck stops with them
Agree in principle, but maybe it's not the players fault. Maybe A:they aren't up to the necessary standard in the first place, B: A lot of people were Cock a Hoop when we got rid of the best player on our books in the summer, but we are apparently still paying out considerable amounts every week for him. I am by no means a bed wetter, but i cannot see us getting out of this league, this season as I cannot see any quality being added in January. Not a statement that is made under the influence of alcohol or mass panic, just one made in the cold light of day with a realistic mind set.

Can't see how turning on a manager one game in at a pivotal moment in our history is a good idea but then I can't see it happening

I think if anything there will just be apathy. Lack of singing pockets of empty seats people staying away due to weather and time of game

There is zero chance of this! Anyone who piped up with such crap would be rightly told by everyone around them to shut up or fuck off.
I think about 70% of this board haven’t been to a game for years. Probably kid themselves with the, ā€˜I’m not going back until (insert manager/owner/player/tea lady) has gone’. They therefore don’t have a clue what reality is like.

I hadn't been to a game for a few years until our decline a few years back and started going again to one or two matches.
I suppose I'm an Unfair weather supporter.
Being 200 miles away and working a 24/7 shift makes it hard to get to games but i can understand some people's frustration going week in week out watching us struggle at times, especially in a shƬt league and considering where we have been in the past and to be honest, where we should be.

Parky wasn't my first choice, in fact he wasn't my second but he's here now and however bad it was yesterday he cannot be judged on that.

The best thing to do now is to get behind him. Even if the players are deemed not good enough, it's no use getting on their backs.
Hopefully the January window will be used to improve the squad, if not then questions need answering.

We are where we are unfortunately and cracks seem to be showing regarding scouting/takeover/owners but until we know the facts it's only hearsay.

Tuesday not a chance

I don’t understand people, the ā€œwe need to give the new manager timeā€ rubbish... over 500 games managed has proven he isnt a good manager and simply isnt the right man for us. The way he set the team up yesterday was garbage, we need a proper manager in, not some chancer on the cheap.
