Could it turn nasty on Tuesday?.

I think there’s a need for a few home truths.
This board is not representative of the supporters that attend the home games. On here it’s mainly people that like to express an opinion, by the very nature of it. Not all supporters are “fuming”
The current squad of players are actually bang average League 1 standard and not any better than other teams despite assertions that we have the best squad.
Because the facilities, ground and history is “big club” the visiting players and fans raise their games against us, but our team and manager are not “big club” so we should have no expectation to simply turn up and win any game in League 1.
The manager has been here 5 minutes.

Anything other than support on Tuesday will be massively counter productive.

We fucked up by not bringing Maddison in....

£2.5 million would have secured us promotion...

Turning down £1.5m last season for Maja could well have seen us promoted.
Their decisions are finance first, football second.

Think we will win Tuesday though.

i thought the atmosphere was surprisingly upbeat yesterday and don't see why it should be different on tuesday. grigg even got a bit of encouragement when he was warming up.
like others have said this board isn't really representative of those who go. yes, there are those who twist on but not all like some would have you believe.

It's nothing to do with Parkinson but, if we go behind and look like we'll be going into November in the bottom half of the third division then yes, of course people will be pissed off

I get the negativity mate, we're not exactly in a great place, but I still see any involvement from these lads as a positive. At least it brings them to the table, so there's less chance they'll lose all interest, or invest in someone else. My only worry is that if they are really "hands off" and are happy to let Donald, Hill and co run the show, they won't get much return from their investment. Nothing that we have done on the recruitment side suggests they'll get it right with a bit (not much) more money. I just hope they are involved enough to see this and demand a good DoF comes in. Only by having someone better than Hill in charge of the football side will we start to see any green shoots of recovery

Hill and Coton have it made. No one chants "sack the recruitment team" when things are going badly, which is probably why so many charlatans end up in that line of work.

Going not just by the mood on here but other forums, social media and my interactions with other fans who don’t post on internet you get the feeling something is bubbling to the surface and should we go behind on Tuesday it might just boil ower.

I guess news of the investment might bring a few on side for a bit longer but you definitely get the feeling of an undercurrent of emotions coming to a boil.
Parky was not my choice but to revolt after two games if we lose is a tad premature dont you think?.....The don might get a few shouty twitter messages l ...wait a minute...... We all know what parky's style of play is ..hoof the ball to the striker as quick as possible. The problem is we have strikers who cannot heed the ball and couldn't hold onto a clamp!...............its going to be a long hard season and i think parky is worse than ross! and he was signed because he was cheap!

This board isn't representative, you're right. Plenty of people who go to games are "fuming" as well however. I know I'm pissed off with how we have progressed since last season, the people I go to the game are as well. The bairn went to Wycombe with his mates yesterday, they all sound pissed off, there are pissed off people in the pubs before the game and around us at the match. Sometimes the "this board isn't representative" line is used to almost suggest that every match going fan is fairly happy with us being seemingly stuck in league one when that's far from the case. I'd say the match going fans are a lot more patient than some on here, or they know not to voice displeasure too much in the ground because you're right that it can be counter productive. There is a lot of anger though, I'm just hoping it won't come to the surface whilst we're trying to get investment in and whilst a new manager finds his feet

True fans will get behind the team and new boss PP because they are sensible enough to realise a new boss has to be given time to evaluate the squad and decide on what tactics then to use.

The non attending keyboard stars aren't worth a light so I wouldn't waste a second of my life thinking about them.

don’t think the OP was talking about jumping on Parky’s back TBF.

Parky will get plenty of time, i have every faith in our fans to support.

It's Stewart Donald who is next in the firing line unfortunately. Everything he done well in the first 7/8 months has been undone in my opinion.

I don’t think attacking the manager at this early stage is right and certainly not fair. The owners ned a kick up the backside for providing us with a poor third division side. The players are brittle, I would not condone it at this time, let’s have some common sense, it will achieve nothing.

Great post

This season the players have not done the basics and appear to be unmotivated. The senior players should be driving motivation and leading every game for whatever reason it’s not happening....have the players downed tools? Looks like it to me
This could be related to the fact that Cattermole is no longer in the dressing room. Who is our leader now?
