Cops son avoids jail for drug driving twice

The whole article doesn’t make very good reading. He was absolved of blame for the first incident for some reason.

Second for dealing.

Third for refusing a sample and still walks free.

Speaking from experience there is nothing new here. I wouldnt expect anyone to get time getting them done twice for drug driving. Probably even 3 times. Would expect a suspended on the 3rd most likely.

They didn’t really report on how the two blokes were killed in the first story so can only assume he was completely blameless.

So you dont think things like this are a reason for the anti- police rhetoric ?, i would honestly expect any young lad having been caught drug driving twice and dealing to expect some porridge, perhaps they are waiting until he ploughs into someone else while off his face 1st.

Its not the police that hand down any sentence. Such a strange outlook on the justice system

Like many drivers are in fatal collisions. It will have been investigated if the fact he was impaired at the time would have had any impact and it clearly didnt. Clearly a collision that was unavoidable and arrest for causing death by is standard
This is what im not understanding, how can a person be not guily when they are behind the wheel after taking drugs.

I believe in the first incident he was convicted of drug driving and received a 2 year ban

Strange how they both retired last year when cannabis was discovered in their million pound house in Ascot. Gotta protect those pensions eh?

I think you'll find that if investigations are started into wrong doing of officers they can no longer retire or they are no longer able of simply walking away with a full pension. You knew that though

Your right i think its fucked up, as bad as AJs crime was it didnt merit in my opinion 7yrs and you have pricks drinking or drug driving (more then once) risking wiping innocent people out allowed to walk free, its crazy.

I absolutely doubt it. A sergeant would have absolutely zero pull whatsoever with interfering with the justice system. Just another non story to inflate the anti police rhetoric that’s already got plenty traction at present.
Completely agree.

His dad would have absolutely no power at all. Unless he’s being accused of interfering with the investigation or evidence etc.

Yeah that showed him.

Civil courts massively different. Work on the balance of probabilities. I have no knowledge how it works when it comes to damages so cant comment on that
I didn’t mean to quote you sorry, then it wouldn’t let me change it. Was replying to the OP for a bit of background on the crash.

We know how it looks from the outside looking in but I think you’ve explained it as much as we know he’s just a wrong’un despite his mam and dads profession.

Yep. Probably been given everythings hes wanted all his life. No doubt his parents have so much shame and probably cut their careers short. Sent the wrong message when they paid his original fine
Yeah that showed him.

Cops fault then. Or empowered by this imaginery lodge you speak of. Grow up

No, I didn't know that. Must be a fairly recent development, or is it all in the timing?
