This link says RFID can store 2k with some high memory specialist tags going up to 8k. These are physically larger, for tagging aircraft parts. A long way from the ‘many gig’.

Like you say, it doesn't need to store a wealth of data... a unique identifier should do the trick with the data being held centrally. It's the kind of thing that would have previously been balked at but slap a bit convenience onto it (logging into your computer, clocking in at work, opening security doors) and it'll be lapped up.

A great thread bump and fantastic reading it again. No surprises that those saying everything was bad and we just couldn't see it was Oldie, Parm and Nukehassle fan. There are a couple of the usual conspiracy names missing but we got three of them.
The main theme seems to be that our freedoms are gone from good and we were stupid for thinking that the world would return to normal, and that working from home would not be a common thing. Also a 100% certain prediction from Oldie, just like he has been predicting Rwanda deportations will happen soon.
Post 94 - It will take a couple of years to kick in but 100% that is the agenda
