It was an out swinging free kick man, why the hell would we have players in the 6 yard box? If it was in-swinging as it would have been if we had a right footer on the free kick we'd have lined up nearer the six yard box. Come on man this is basic, stop looking for reasons to criticise that aren't there.[DOUBLEPOST=1395894757][/DOUBLEPOST]I wish people would stop wanting our strikers to just chance loose balls around. Poyet has tactics, he wants our strikers to help keep the shape, which he was very impressed with tonight. I'm not sure why people are looking for criticisms after this game, the only two that can be are Giacc, who offered nothing and Vergini, who offered Liverpool a bit too much.

Did ok. Think he has a better first touch than altidore which allows him more time to hold it up and bring other players in which we should be looking to get from him. I think he should be given the start in the next game like people have said, johno and borini either side. Use his first touch to help these two come into the game as we are more successful when borini and johnson have the ball more.

Did ok for me, when we actually got the ball to him. Dunno why he was taken off and Altidore kept on, Wickham was the better of the two imo.

We need to sort out our players tho, our 2 attackers were split to either wing and everytime we launched the ball up we kicked it straight up the middle where there was no fucker there but their defenders ready to bring the ball back at us. f***ing useless.

thoughts?
Not a lot you could say about last night as he barely had a touch. Still a bit too airy fairy for me - trying little touches and flicks when all he needed to do was use his strength, stick is arse into the defender and hold the ball up - however he deserves a run in the team, especially if we persist with 3-5-2 and play 2 strikers - he offers no less than Altidore/Fletcher/Scocco

They don't understand football. I wouldn't waste my breath.

Give him almost a full season up-front (a la Altodire) and we can take an objective view.

I was referring to last night, but from what I've seen he looks the better player. If you were to give him a full season a la Altidore, I don't think it's possible that he could do much worse.
