Striker
He's always impressed when played, it was a dereliction of duty by the abysmal O'Neill in largely ignoring him.
Strange how Stuart pearce gets the best out of Connor & he's supposed to be a crap manager

He had a good game if only the wide players could get some quality balls into the box for him!
Wickham had a real impact - makes his loan out and non inclusion under O Neill look a real nonsense
oi have criticised him in the past but i 'm admitting i was wrong he was a handful today for two world class defenders despite getting nil service from the flanks .
For those who say he offers no goal threat . If sess had squared the ball he had a tap in in the 1st five minutes man!
one of the big plusses from that game for me , judge him against stoke , southampton not his first 90mins against the european champions.
for me that was straight red all day - he even looked and waited for him before raising the elbow
Red and white blinkers off...
I dont think it was a deliberate elbow. It was never anything but an accident. Right decision.
Connor will come good playing next to a quick goalscorer. That's the problem. He is more of a link man because his hold up play is superb. He has 2 good feet too.
aye someone like Fraizer Campbell (thanks MoN)![]()
Campbell? Goalscorer? He was/is f***ing rubbish man
I know, he scored a few for cardiff
Looked superb today, some great touches and ball retention, should've been playing all season.
better option than our £5,000,000 man is![]()
Hes 6ft 4 and about 14 stone ffs, is the least we should expect
He offers zero goal threat, f***ing right waste of money
Campbell was tried, tested and failed miserably.
Somehow Fatty Graham managed to score in the PL. That's how he got his chance. I too however, think Graham's hopeless but Campbell had had too many chances to show he wasn't shite and failed
