At the end of the day, Whickham has hardly played, so how can anyone judge.

And on another note, if we dont give him time, it proves that **** Adrian Durham right about our fans, so f***ing shut up!:lol:

In terms of Wickham himself, he's not going to get any better sat on his arse at 19. Its a key development time for him.

Add confidence or lack of with each passing week into the mix and the lad is going to go backwards.

I said it at the time and I'll say it again, it was a f***ing stupid transfer for all concerned. Stuff like that should be left to the big guns who can afford to bring them on when 3 nil up at home. We are just going to destroy him.

So he needs games but would be better sat on the bench at a "big gun"?

He was woeful at Burnley pre season. I thought we'd fielded a random fan for a laugh. Looked a lot better when he had that little run in the side so maybe he'll come good. early days for the lad. We need to buy a centre forward regardless.

We need 2 really. And then we send him out on loan.

Somewhere like forest. Let him play every week and if it works, he comes back the following year.

He looked great versus Bolton and more than capable thereafter, until he got injured.

He's 19, and the step up from the Fizzy Pop to the PL is huge. He needs game time and to play in a team that isn't on the back foot, as it nearly always has been when he's been subbed on, and he'll do fine.

MON however is showing worryin glimpses of favouring a small core to the detriment of those on the fringes, as he did at Villa, hope it's not a long term thing

Another young player we're champing at the bit to ruin by the looks of it. It's a wonder we sign anyone, good job most footballers are stupid.

He should be in the reserves for a stint, banging them in, and pushing for a place.

Bit early to write him off imo, I think he has a touch of arrogance, which is good if he can back it up, but makes him an easy target.

Regardless, we were thick to sign a couple of young lads and not replace players who had had more time to learn their trade, not fair on the lads either.

Hope he gets time to come good, cracking build for a forward, and he has shown glimpses of real promise.

If we sign bendtner and smash our wage structure we are as thick as two short planks imo, so we are desperate for another option.

havent read the thread at all but i think bender should be on the bench now, he isnt going to sign and i probably dont want him to, play our players please

you are right of course the initial contol as he picks the ball out of the air is shocking:roll:

and here again a complete fluke

and as for this completely without promise

 So, from me saying it is nothing special, you have interpreted shocking control and completely without promise, to prove your point? That is why there is often so much idiotic hyperbole posted on here.

I have seen lads in U18 village teams do that. It's good, yes, but not special.
