I agree with this which is why we either need to play him or loan him out, his value must be dropping all the time with him not playing.

if we do loan him out I hope its to a bottom half Premier League side that can offer him more game time than we can (a newly promoted side for example). If hes ever going to be a top player (as he was hyped up to be in the media) he should be showing a lot more glimpses at the top level next season

i've heard there were drugs found upon his person and thats why he isn't playing, also that he failed an in club drug test

I hope not,I still hope the kid makes it. He was a stupid buy but that wasn't his fault.

I think the basic principle MON had was right. He needs to play more time in the prem, but with someone in the squad who can show him what being a CF means, otherwise he'll end up like Bendtner - a big, soft bastard.

Every time I've seen him this season, he's letting people lean into him and allsorts.

Keep him at SAFC, IMO. He's not gonna learn anything from playing with Jermaine Beckford and scoring against Charlton or something.

Bruce got sucked in, man. Shows he hasn't go a clue, tbh.

Of course he'll learn from it, as he's not done it often enough yet even at that level...it's not rocket science

Who he plays with at that level doesn't really come into it, as he's hardly likely to be playing at this level anyway. It's about the experience, games, form, confidence.

When Henderson went out on loan to Coventry, no-one thought we had a £20m player on our hands. He then went on to do well there, but no better or worse than Wickham done at Ipswich. The only difference being Henderson came back to us and got first team football, Wickham hasn't been getting it.

!

That's not actually true. Henderson reallystood out at that level, Wickham has always been mainly about potential.

Henderson also deserved the chance and took it when given on his return, Wickham hasn't deserved to be in the squad on many occasions.

True about Henderson, a lad I worked with was a Coventry season ticket holder and he absolutely raved about Henderson, they were desperate to sign him.

Wickham was a stand out performer for Ipswich, you ask any of their fans that. Look at hte performances he turned in against Arsenal, i'm sorry but that is not the performance of a shit player. He was playing LW for Ipswich yet still chipping in with goals, infact i'd say he was a far better player at Ipswich than Henderson was at Coventry.

If we just give him a run of 5 games or so in the side, we'll see how good is he.

Wickham produced in fits and starts. He also wasn't playing left wing at all, he was playing left side of a three man attack, which to date looks his strongest position as he's barely played up front regularly anywhere.

I've never said he is shit

f***ing nonsense, Henderson looked quality at that level for the period he was there.

Then why wasn't he a regular starter? Not sure how you can make that statement, unless you regularly watched Coventry or Ipswich
