After talking to the two lovely joint winners of the last competition @CrosbyFTM and @Musicman we have amalgamated ideas that suit both of them and hopefully provides a fun theme for this competition.
This bi-monthly theme is as in the title.
The idea is to take a photograph of something, or someone, up close and then far away, both being interesting photos in their own right.
Usual stuff:
1. All welcome, any standard, any equipment.
2. Photographs must be taken between today and 30th April 2024. The competition will close at midnight on 30th April 2024.
3. Up to two entries per poster *
4. The winner of the bi-monthly competition will go forward to the photograph of the year competition.
5. No gifs or triptychs.
6. Editing allowed.
* For this competition, one entry will be two photographs (please post them at the same time), your second entry can be at another time but please post the two photographs at the same time.

NB: For anyone who uses the SMB photo galleries for their photos before they enter them to the competition - from what I understand, is that the permission of the album must not be private, you need to have the album (in album privacy) set as : Can view media items : --> Registered members
