I went to see one of my skunk customers today. The conversation usually revolves around football and today being the first time I had returned since 'the defeat' I was expecting a torrid time. Now bearing in mind that this skunk isnt usually the bitter twisted sort and normally talks sense on all things relating to 'the unwashed' Imagine my surprise when the events of the 31st October werent immediately mentioned! Instead I was greeted to you only won because im pretty sure that Chelsea did it as a protest to the sacking of Ray Wilkins! Ffs! Aha I thought...this Stamford Bridge result has really hit a nerve...and they arent enjoying it one bit! Its almost as if they are bitter that we have in such a short period of time gone a little way to eradicating some of the .

He even said he thought the press were more biased to us than them!!!

However the comment that made me think was this. 'Carroll will always play for us...hes black and white through and through and our home grown number 9's never leave once they play for us. He will not let his fans down. Our players are much more loyal whereas Henderson will be gone in a flash...just you watch' His comments oozed bitterness.

I would love it if Carroll left and Henderson stayed but im pretty sure both will be wooed cometh the hour.

I love the fact that at least one mag is slightly bitter towards us only a fortnight after their great victory!

Weird how they say Wilkins was Chelsea's excuse for losing but one of our senior employees and someone close to Bruce, Bramble and Cattermole in John Benson dying the day before the derby doesn't get a mention.

Malcom MacDonald.

Shearer stayed loyal as long as the price was right, not exactly his first choice or second were they - a world record payout was required to 'enable him to come home', a cheque book approach he re-applied to become their worst manager since pre-Keegan.

They absolutely hate that we've recovered to bounce above them.

They probably thought that we'd "go away" for a while

definately, after they beat us they'll have looked at the fixtures and convinced themselves they'd be 4 to 6 points ahead of us by now, they're not and it's killing them especially after who we've played, arse holes!

I thought their target was 8 points ahead? 12 each to play for and they were out by 9 - staggering.

We can't blame them for that..there was a poster on here who said we'd be 8 points behind come Sunday night...however I do believe they have been brought to account on this matter! :-D

I used to work with a lad who claimed that Sheare would have played for NUFC for nowt. One only hopes that Lua Lua would have given Shearer a lift to the training ground in his Range Rover rather than letting him get the bus from Scotswood !
