He was seen at the beach this week according to someone on here. That'll be why.

I'd be over the moon with Coleman. A decent track record. If he came in, we should absolutely stick with him irrespective.

What track record is that then.
Did OK with Wales for the last Euro's but relied heavily on Gareth Bale, been very poor lately
Has been nothing short of a disaster in English club management

He was hardly a disaster at fulham, done a canny job imo

Saving Fulham from relegation and then getting them to 9th in the Premier League the next year - aye canny disaster for Fulham that was.

Seem to recall he had a chew on with Saha too and was forced to sell him which was a massive loss to Fulham at the time, however he came away from it with a lot of respect.

This Gareth Bale argument is stupid. Most good teams have a stand out player. Also Aaron Ramsey was the stand out player not Bale.

If we could get the Chris Coleman who managed 9th in his first year of league management then I'd take him.

However Fulham pulled the plug on spending and he struggled
He then went to Coventry who were in a similar financial state to us now and struggled

I don't fancy him but I can see how people can make a case for him its all opinions

Whatever he's a better choice than McCoist

I've come round to the idea of Coleman. It's not inspiring, but looking at the other options then unless a rabbit is pulled out of a hat (an experienced, talented, motivational rabbit), then he is the best we can hope for for where we are and if we don't appoint him one Premier club or other apparently probably will which speaks volumes given we are barely a Championship outfit right now.

Feck sake man. Try and have a bit of positivity about the situation.

Posted this earlier today mate. Not my first choice think he has a dodgy record as a coach with no money.
But always positive. If he's the one then lets get behind him.

So Positives
- He is about as high profile as we could have hoped, so if he can get us out of the shit stands a chance of attracting players.
- The fact that someone like him has signed up might and just might mean that Short will back him in January.

- He's manager of the team I have supported for 50 years so anyone who says he's shit can fuck off

Much better mate. Absolutely without a doubt there is nobody better who would come here! He’s well above what I was expecting.
