Coleman willing to take pay cut

I'd keep him. We are pretty much starting from scratch and that may as well be with the fella who is already aware of the massive shitstorm that is this club over someone who gets thrown at the deep end and takes another 6 months to come to terms with it. Seems committed to the cause as well which helps.

Stuart McCall did it with Bradford who he's managed about 8000 times lol.

Still it's a good thing and signasl the intent of a manager who wants to succeed.

It's not often a manager gets a pay rise after relegating a club like unless your Rafa who can do not wrong ever.

I’m hoping he can get us out of it? But only back to the championship.

Can’t see it ..

Is it 5 league wins at home in the last two seasons?

Next to win at least thirteen homes next season..

Sends out a message to Chodwell and anyone else leeching from the club. He's not obliged to take a pay cut in any way.

I think if we had an owner as responsible and mature as Coleman then he'd be a success here. Unfortunately ours has launched his toys out the pram and is now holding his breath as long as possible.

With no money, no hope and no goodwill in the "short" term we need an Antifootball manager, not a classy one.

Couple this with Moyes walking away without a payoff he was allegedly due and that’s quite a statement to Short and the club from 2 of our last 3 managers.
But Moyes didn't sound good in press conferences and hasn't got a smart wife so it doesn't count.

I'd happily get rid if new owners have a plan like, because as much as I like him, I don't think he has any plan.

As you say though at this stage maybe its best he stays in charge.

Although if Mick McCarthy said he wanted job, I'd swap in a heartbeat

What was the story with Grayson? Did he stick out for what he was owed?
Grayson would have been on a lot more money than he was at Preston like, he’d have stuck out for the compensation payment.

Coleman was well paid by the Wales FA probably & Moyes would have got high wages at Man U.
