Coffee Table Books....

This is a canny read for anyone that liked computer games, particularly in the 80s and 90s.

It is about loads of game projects that got close to completion and then just died or disappeared. There is one in there that I had been looking forward to for ages and put away some pocket money waiting for it's release. They had adverts in magazines and all sorts. Spitfire Fury for the Archimedes. I had the previous game by the same author, Chocks Away and it was brilliant for it's day. Turns out the screenshots in the adverts were an advertisers mock up and the author having made a fair bit on the first game, took his advance money and spent all his time clubbing and getting pissed in Ibiza, and no game was ever produced.

Everything is just a 4 or 5 page story, so easy to pick up and put down.
Has zero relevance to the thread. Great input as always.
How do you know he doesn't keep that book on his coffee table?
