... Looking to get a new coffee machine for about 250/300 quid. Any recommendations? Preferably a manual espresso for doing lattes and the like. But I'll not rule out a bean to cup as long as it isn't too expensive.

Any ideas? And no daft ones for about a grand either please, ta.

Its probably the exact same inside, just a slightly different interface.

The only thing I was disappointed with was steam wand - its ok, but basically nothing for under a grand can compete with a pro setup. Oh, and the "tea" button (hot water) is 80C, so is useless for black tea!

Hardly like. I've got a Delonghi magnifica bean to cup. Can't remember how much it was, bit fairly sure it was within budget. Hasn't missed a beat in 3 years +.

Just got this, a bit more than what you want to pay, as it was for us, but It’s rapidly become one of those things that if it broke, you’d replace immediately.

aye they get all these fancy, expensive, coffee machines then need to hoy an Irish Whiskey, Tia Maria etc in to kill the taste
