Which weapon are you using?
The first assault rifle KN-44 is a good weapon to use. You need to get a decent sight on there when you can. Either the red dot sight, the BOA or the other one, don't bother with the scopes.
Stick a grip on there with FMJ if you have it.
As for advice on how to play it's just practice really. A good specialist to use for kills is Battery with War Machine.

Core is f***ing shite mate
Hardcore is the only one you should be playing imo
Search and destroy is the best game mode imo
Don't expect to get loads of kills though.
The best I've done on search is 14 kills 0 deaths

What's the difference between the 2. I was playing core because it had more players playing in it

Core takes about 5 bullets to kill someone.
Hardcore is more like real life, 1 or 2 bullets to kill.
It's much better imo

SMG Class stick a VMP on with quickdraw, grip and extended mag till you get used to it then take the mag off. First perk, after burner and ghost, second perk fast hands and blast suppressor on the site.
Second smg class I use is the Kuda with 4 attatchments. ELO Site, Quickdraw, Grip and supressor. Perks are Ghost, fast hands and blast supressor. This class helps me a lot, it's pretty stealthy and I think would help you improve a lot until you start building up your score streaks.

Agree with this. Tried to go from hardcore mode back to core mode and it was an absolute disaster.
I use the ICR-2 instead of the KN44 or whatever it is. Good for longer range as long as you've got decent eyesight that is.
The best way to improve is to move quicker and don't stay still for too long because I have found out that no matter where you are on any map, you need to be looking in about 3 different directions when you are 'camping' and always get caught looking in the wrong direction and get killed very easily that way.

Yeah I've noticed you can't stand still. I've been trying to stick to the outside of the maps and try and pick other players off.

Pretty much everything's been covered..agree with most points, play hard core, practice and constantly be on the move. Camping is pathetic.
As for sights, I wouldn't waste a point on them, I've not found a weapon with bad iron sights.
Guns, with the weapon balancing they have in place pretty much all guns are good depending on your play style, I personally like the kuda, VMP, Weevil, Pharo, KN44, ICR, XR2, M8A7.
2 attachments and the rest on perks for me, quick draw isn't needed on smgs & a grip isn't needed on the ICR at all.

Cheers I was wondering about attachments. I know when I added a suppressor onto the weevil my kill count dropped massively like half. But I managed to break into double figures for the first time

Think blast suppresser is decent too. I am always jumping about so use it a lot.
