The right type of game matters yes like a time game or limited overs. But I think the most important thing to get enough players on a Saturday is to create the right environment. Not taking the cricket or themselves too serious and playing for fun. Most players are not going to make the IPL, so play competitively but for the crack. If it is fun and enjoyable people will want to play. We are in rustic Portugal and guys travel a long way to play with us for the banter etc. Mind you 1 Euro a pint helps
