Contact Chris, he's usually spot on, he's also happy to have his email address shared on here

[email protected]

yeah i've got his mobile number as i've dealt with him a few times, but feel sorry for him. the only two options i have is to wait and hope it gets delivered, or sneak in with two through the turnstile. i'm away after work tomorrow over the lakes and not back till sunday morning. haven't even got the time to go and queue anyway and if it isn't in the post now, then theres no chance its coming anyway. two of my mates are in the same boat, with the bairns tickets not arriving yet

hopefully they come tomorrow or saturday in the post.

or worst case scenario, we get to the ground at 1130 on sunday and theres no queue at the ticket office and i'll waltz in and get a replacement printed.

I haven't said there's not a problem. There are thousands of comments about the situation, flooding the board. Same folk commenting, including me.
Probably because there’s a RAWA representative on here. Where else can they complain? Do the club have any official channels to log a complaint? I know the main twitter takes no notice and that Chris bloke will be already running round like a blue arse fly to begin with

The staff they have always been fairly useless. This has been compounded by them now being massively short staffed. I made an enquiry a few weeks ago about something in the club shop and 5 days later got a condescending email saying I mustn't have looked very hard. They had rectified the issue in the meantime but they should have just said it had now been rectified not tried to act clever pretending there had never been a problem

Davison only cares about what his spreadsheets are telling him it is a bean counter mentality. The way the club shop and ticketing is being ran is penny wise, pound foolish.

I reckon with the number of our supporters needing issues sorted and also Cov supporters who have to pick up tickets, plus the queues at the turnstiles, 1100 would be the latest I'd be getting to the TO.

Edit: The club also don't appear to know who hasn't received season cards and needs paper tickets (otherwise emails would have been sent to those affected). That'll slow things down even more imo.

aye true enough. i know it sounds petty, but we shouldnt have to. the only people queuing at the ticket office should be those wanting to pay in on the day. and even those people should be able to queue and pay at a turnstile

if you've bought your ticket months in advance, you should be spending the few hours before the first home game of the season catching up with mates and spending time with your group, spending money in local pubs and inside the ground, and getting yourself in a good mood and up for enjoying the game. not stood in a queue for hours

I’ve seen people on twitter complaining about the steward/security bloke being an arse telling people they won’t get in.

If it’s the baldy bloke with tattoos, late 40’s early 50’s. He’s a mag.

Oh, I'd be raging. I'd be half tempted to get a pro rata refund.

Is that on Saturday night to get into the queue

The ticket office situation relating to opening hours, the lack of options to contact etc is utterly laughable.

Think it was Roy Keane said it but also Alex Neil has touched on it. If you want to be a big club going places, little things like that while they seem small, do make a difference.

No reason why there can't be more staff in the ticket office, opening more hours, more ways to contact etc. They initially used COVID as the excuse (understandable back in 2020 or even early 2021) but we're pretty much back to normal in every aspect of life these days.

When I used to be a non-season card holder it was pretty easy to go in and get a ticket within working hours. There were plenty of staff on, you knew clear as day the working hours and there was usually someone on the end of the phone. Nowadays it seems the TO is only open a few hours, with very little staff on and the phone calls simply don't get answered or even responded to.

In a world whereby communication is becoming more instant and easier, trust Sunderland AFC to make things even harder for it's incredibly loyal supporters.

just seen this on the other thread:

New season cards

Supporters that have purchased a new season card, or who have moved seats for the new campaign, are advised that all new season cards have now been dispatched.

If your new season card has not arrived, please visit the ticket office during the opening times and you will be issued with a match ticket for Sunday’s game.

Friday 29 July: 10:00-13:00

Saturday 30 July: 10:00-17:00

Sunday 31 July: 09:00-12:00

Davison getting plenty of pelters, and rightly so, but what on Earth are the new ownership doing to resolve this? If the club are telling the truth and Dreyfus has been running the show for 18 months now then these continued fiascos do not reflect well on him at all.

The club have treated the fans with utter contempt for years and there's precious few signs that will change anytime soon under him.
