Wembley tickets was an absolute shambles, they then decided to take my mates season ticket money from my account, I didn’t even bother contacting them about it in case they cancelled our season cards, my mate just squares me up when the payment is due, I honestly think it’s just Chris Waters dealing with this all by himself.

I don't support them. I support Sunderland. We're not perfect. We're climbing back from the lowest point in our history.

I'm sick of reading threads every Day criticising these aspects of the club. Far from ideal but seems to be a favourite pastime for some pulling the club to bits.
What an idiotic response. I support Sunderland too but can’t seemingly get into the ground having paid £500 for a season ticket.

You think not being able to get in the ground is just ‘far from ideal’?

Is Steve Davison alive? He should at least be commenting on this shambolic, unacceptable off field dis-organisation. He's the COO of SAFC.

Some of the stories emanating from people who were in the queue for tickets for Sunday's opening match v Coventry City or to sort out season card issues this morning [or to buy them!-the club told them to come to the ticket office today!] are frightening and reflect poorly on those in charge of off field operations. These include a security bloke who was allegedly smiling whilst telling people they were not getting into the ticket office at the 1pm cut off time [opening hours 10:00-13:00-how pathetic is that a few days before the season kicks off-the Wembley feelgood factor should be exploited not stamped on with this amateurish stupidity] despite a harassed ticket office woman saying "you'll all get served"-the aforementioned security bloke then saying no one was getting in!

Apparently there were people there from well outside the Wearside area who had travelled up to buy tickets and season cards- North Yorkshire, Northumberland, Durham, Consett, Teesside etc. left angry and disappointed at the absolute chaos at the disgraceful scenes and actions of the security people. In essence the club should have had people there handing out coffees and teas and indulging in some positive public relations.
It was radio silence in the aftermath of Wembley - the amount of sales we must have missed out on!

It’s unbelievable we’ve managed to sell over 30k season tickets and over 40k tickets for Coventry in spite of our incompetently ran club.

Why can't they open the ticket office from 10am-5pm Wednesday to Friday and 10am-2pm on match days? Surely it can't be that expensive?!

So you don’t think this incident deserves criticism?

Are you on a wind up mate? Surely if there’s daily threads criticising the ticket office and club shop side of things then surely that points towards a problem at the club and not thousands of fans twisting for the sake of it.

Sorry to go slightly off topic but it does relate to the ticket office in a way. I bought a ticket online on Sunday. It gives me two options on the email, either print it off or download digitally. Seeing as I don't own a printer I want a digital copy. Problem is, when I go to the download link it just brings up Google wallet with the message "something went wrong. Please try again" and it's been this way all week. I emailed the ticket office on monday for some help but to no suprise I'm still waiting for an answer. This thread probably explains why. Has anyone else had this issue or know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

The club don't seem to be doing anything to help themselves.

You cant use the excuse that we've been in league one for the past 4 years as an excuse for the fact we're currently being run worse than non league clubs.
'Worse than mon league clubs', aye righto.

It’s a good job I’m not one of the attendees at the RAWA meetings with the board as I’d seriously lose my shit with Davison. The bloke is an utter charlatan in my opinion.

I’m certainly not defending him, but you have to wonder the remit he is being told to work under.
