'tickets will be emailed out on Tuesday 17th may' come Thursday morning and still no tickets. no statement from the club. fuck all. just 40,000+ heading to wembley with no tickets. no communication. no explanation. f***ing idiots.
I do agree that our commercial operations is a farce and needs sorting right now but it's just not true that there was 40k people without Wembley tickets 2 days before the game

I don't support them. I support Sunderland. We're not perfect. We're climbing back from the lowest point in our history.

I'm sick of reading threads every Day criticising these aspects of the club. Far from ideal but seems to be a favourite pastime for some pulling the club to bits.
Stop being a provocative clever shite with your stuff on this thread. Thanks.

I've said the playing side is looking so much more professional which it is. Off the field you cannot deny it's a mess on many fronts-the lack of communication and failure to answer supporter concerns on matters like this thread is highlighting is undeniable and amateurish, showing a lack of respect to the fanbase.

The club don't seem to be doing anything to help themselves.

You cant use the excuse that we've been in league one for the past 4 years as an excuse for the fact we're currently being run worse than non league clubs.

You should be sick of reading about it, it needs to be fixed, it's no way to treat people who are trying to support the business.

I must admit I get my season tickets on direct debit, but last year after I had a bit of money saved up I was going to just buy them outright in one go. But then I realised that any sort of change then the club are incapable of dealing with it, as I have zero trust in them. So I just left it is it was.

We are definitely seeing the impact of the cost cutting that went on under SD and CM.

I fully get it will take time to get a new kit deal/lines of merchandise back into the club shop; but it shouldn’t take long to get the ticketing side back up and running.

They’ve had weeks to train staff

From what I'm hearing he's been very polite about it too. It sounds like an absolute shambles. Dreyfus and Sartori etc are involved in multi-billion pound companies-are they aware of all this crap? Needs addressing from the top and Steve Davison, SAFC COO, could at least try and communicate with people. Things seem to be getting very professional on the playing side but off the pitch it's a mess and the being a league one club won't wash any more either now we're one step away from the top flight....
Totally agree, it's embarrassing, who the rep for RAWA on here now ?

I'll comment any way I wish. Thanks for the advice though but.

If as seems the case from various comments on here and other sources, the club needs to explain as to why the clubs supporters who have spent time today in a queue and then to be told they can’t get a ticket as it’s is due to close, is an absolute disgrace.

The club off the field let’s be honest remains a shambles, be it the ticket office, the club shop and the lack of meaningful engagement with the clubs brilliant support.

The club surely needs to explain why purchasing match day tickets is not as it should be and why some supporters are being treat in this way.

….. and why you should never label smaller clubs Tin Pot.

It’s been a poor close season.

Is Steve Davison alive? He should at least be commenting on this shambolic, unacceptable off field dis-organisation. He's the COO of SAFC.

Some of the stories emanating from people who were in the queue for tickets for Sunday's opening match v Coventry City or to sort out season card issues this morning [or to buy them!-the club told them to come to the ticket office today!] are frightening and reflect poorly on those in charge of off field operations. These include a security bloke who was allegedly smiling whilst telling people they were not getting into the ticket office at the 1pm cut off time [opening hours 10:00-13:00-how pathetic is that a few days before the season kicks off-the Wembley feelgood factor should be exploited not stamped on with this amateurish stupidity] despite a harassed ticket office woman saying "you'll all get served"-the aforementioned security bloke then saying no one was getting in!

Apparently there were people there from well outside the Wearside area who had travelled up to buy tickets and season cards- North Yorkshire, Northumberland, Durham, Consett, Teesside etc. left angry and disappointed at the absolute chaos at the disgraceful scenes and actions of the security people. In essence the club should have had people there handing out coffees and teas and indulging in some positive public relations.
I'm wondering the same, nothing from Davison at all despite continued complaints and frustration from the fans. They need to appoint more staff.
