Claudia Lawrence

It seems they're now trying to link her disappearance to Christopher Halliwell :
Christopher Halliwell's could be linked to Claudia Lawrence's murder claims her father | Daily Mail Online
Interesting theory, the man is evil and his parents apparently lived a short distance away from her in York (so he knew the area). If I were the cops, I'd be dragging sonar equipment over both of the fields his 2 known victims were found in !

Lawrence disappeared on the 19th March as did Linda Razzell and as did Sian O'Callaghan. Halliwell was convicted of murder for Sian. He did building work at the home of Razzell, her body has never been found and her husband has served 14 years for a crime he swears to this day he did not committ.

The 19th march was a special day for Halliwell (I think a partner ditched him) he's been convicted of murdering one person on that day and it's entirely conceivable Lawrence and Razzell were his victims also.

Aye they're trying to link him in the true life crime programme I watched on bbc2 at 9pm tonight (next part tomorrow at 9pm). I have a feeling Mr razell will fail the lie detector test and the blood will be present in the hoover sadly. He'd hurt her previously and I have a bad feeling about it tbh.
I do think haliwell is a serial killer, just not sure he killed her. For all we know she could have framed him mind, or the person her hubby borrowed the car off could've killed her......

Aye the waters are well muddied in the case and it doesn't look good for the husband, I wondered if the husband did such an amazing job of getting rid of the body why didn't he do the same with the car, crusher, torched, in the river etc.

Halliwell was said to be obcessed with Linda and she went missing on his favourite day. Sadly it's almost certain both she and Lawrence are dead, if only they could find the bodies albeit there may be little forensic evidence yielded now.

This team involved investigating the case are very interesting, I wonder where the funding comes from, is it MOJ ?

What's up with the investigating team ?

What's up with the investigating team ?

It's an organisation called Inside Justice. They are a team of experts comprising Journalists, Lawyers, Barristers, Forensic Scientists, specialist former police officers etc. They investigate cases of potential miscarriages of justice, in the case of the BBC 2 program at 9pm last night and again tonight it's that of Glyn Razzell, convicted of murdering his estranged wife. The team have investigated over 1,000 cases to date. They are funded by charitable donations and members of the public.

If you're struggling for something to watch I would recommend this, last night's will be on BBC iPlayer.

The body of Linda Razzell has never been found but her husband has served 14 years for killing her to date. One of the twists in this story is that Linda Razzell knew Christopher Halliwell very well. This is the same Halliwell who has since been convicted of murdering 3 times already, the cid officer who caught him believes he could have killed or raped around 60 women.

Razzell, Lawrence and O'Callaghan all disappeared on 29th March (different years obviously). The latter of the three was definitely killed by Halliwell, he knew Razzell and did work at her house, his father lived in the next street to Lawrence.

What was the outcome then ? Does he look guilty or not ?

The Investigators concluded that the blood had always been in the boot of the car and couldn't have been planted. They also worked with Wiltshire Police and could not find any credible link between Halliwell and Linda's disappearance. The police would not release the hoovered up fibres from the car unfortunately, they will only do this to the offiicial criminal case review but it looks unlikely the case will get to that stage. Nothing has come to light to support the blokes protestation of innocence.

Next year he will have served the recommended minimum 16 years, he's currently in an open prison.

Always thought convicted lifers had to show remorse before they would be considered for release, even if they'd reached their recommended minimum term.

The ones where they've dumped bodies never to be found should be made to disclose where they are before release anarl.

Guilty as fuck, soon as he refused to take the lie detector test it looked bad for him.
Yup, that and the blood in the car boot obviously. Razell seemed arrogant, he would have failed that lie detector test and he knew it.
