Clair de Lune

Not a much of classical music fan but I do enjoy Clair de Lune. Fur Elise and Gymnopedie 1 are good as well but this version of Ave Maria is pretty relaxing even if I don't understand the words.


Also from watching Davie504 on YouTube I've came across this other bass player, his version of Hallelujah is good stuff.

 


Other suggestions of Gymnopedies and Flower Duet are spot on, but also consider 'Barcarolle' from 'The Tales of Hoffmann' , Offenbach for 'by the fire' recommendations :), starting to feel this forum is developing some culture at last :).

You're preaching to the converted! After Clair de Lune, that is my second favourite classical tune.

Being in a crowd of Brazilians when they all sing and dance to this song is unbeatable, especially when you know the background to the song.
