Me and a few of the lads on about going away for a few days next month, been to Amsterdam a few times so don't want to go back there

Anyone recommend somewhere for a few days. Only really bothered about a good drink, decent chances to pull and a decent atmosphere. Also any decent / cheapish websites we can have a look on

Cheers

liverpool is great, yorks nice for beer garden pubs, edinburgh...
they'd be my first choices la

travelling from where?

budget

?

magaluf would be the cheapest probly

Ther things you're after are probably available in most European cities TBH. I'd rule out the Scandinavian capitals, aside perhaps from Copenhagen, based on booze price though.

Depends on budget but Berlin would be my recommendation.

1 of the lads is going to be a Dad come July so budget will be pretty low although I don't want to stop in a hovel or owt

We'd be flying from Newcastle as well to answer the lad in an earlier post.

I fancy Germany like as a few people on here have mentioned it before.

mates have just got back from munich and said it was superb

It's looking like Germany a reckon. Any idea where they booked it through?

A wanted to go away to Tenerife or summit but the selfish bastards are knocking bairns out and moving in with lasses so don't have the dosh

hannover or dusseldorf then you could see if them flats oz built are still standing:lol:

Easiest way to get to Munich is probably Easyjet from Edinburgh. Your options from Newcastle are pretty limited:

My suggestion would be to get the train to Doncaster and fly with Wizzair to Vilnius. Beautiful city and people with cheap drink and even cheaper accommodation. Plus it really is a budget flight in terms of price whereas most of the decent Ryanair/Easyjet routes are practically indistinguishable from the main carriers cost wise these days.
