Cirkin

This ^ 100% a yellow Cirkin knew exactly what he was doing . Good on him he stopped a dangerous attack and we held on for the win.

You say 100% a yellow.....I just cant see that at all....the proximity of them and Cirkin being square on....I think if you say that deserves a yellow and thus a red card then i totally disagree. Just on this point , why is it ok for a player to shepherd the ball over the goal line , making no attempt to play the ball and deliverately block/obstruct attacker...i dont see any difference.....that always baffles me....

Cirkin steps to his right and blocks him off. It’s a clear yellow. Chong should also have had a yellow, possibly red, for the elbow though. And I don’t blame Cirkin. If he hadnt done that they were in on goal.
so what about a defender blocking off a attacker to let ball go over the goal line , sometimes very aggressive but nothing is ever done...yellow card and penalty ????

I’m on goal? There’s about 4 Sunderland players behind him?

Honestly think chong got away with one for the second yellow, you can run into someone without raising your elbows and smashing them in the schnozz
Definitely this, Cirkin blocked him off but he managed to raise his elbow and smash Cirkin deliberately in the face prior to the collision, he wasn't daft and certainly got away with one there.

On your last point , Di think the thing with the Cirkin foul was it was a deliberate block to stop the winger getting clean thru and potentially initiating a dangerous attack , I think that is factored in to the decision to give a yellow. The fact that it was his second so he gets red has nothing to do with awarding a yellow in the first place imo anyway.

A strange player. Looks like Maldini one game then plays the next three like he's had ten cans of Kestrel pre match.

Plays as if he’s still dizzy from that collision... it is strange
Nah, that's bollocks mate, he's a good player, a consistent 7 in my mind.
Desperately unlucky to get a red today.

First booking was harsh for first foul

Wasn't a red card for me.

It was a yellow
He had no where to go, it's a free-kick, I mean give a yellow if he hasn't got one already but to give a second for that is mental.

We committed 3 fouls and had 2 yellows.

They committed 19 ffs and only picked up 2. We're constantly on the end of persistent fouling it seems and teams continue to get away with it.

I think refs have clamped down on it in recent games. I reckon Mowbray must have been making representations behind the scenes
