Personally think he'll be more than good enough for a team chasing automatic promotion and beyond that too.

There's a reason Spurs fans were gutted he went.

He's had COVID, a tough year with his father dying, has moved up north after living south most of his life, and is 19 years old. That's a lot of external factors that people won't even consider.

Then on the field he's behind in fitness, thrown in at the deep end, trying to learn a system and style of play.

Give him a chance FFS.

And he's literally playing his first ever games of first team football, and he's 19. He'll adjust soon enough

This. He's slotted in and beat a team who are one of the promotion favourites comfortably and didnt concede when he was on the pitch.

He looks a prospect

If the question is "is it an improvement on what we suffered at left back with potential to still improve adn almosted rifled one in today?" then yes, is the answer.

This 100%

Not the answer .

That's the spirit.

Honestly man, some of our fans would twist on 21. We're on the verge of having a young, exciting team and yet there's still some absolute joy vacuums that are intent on looking at the negatives.

As others have said, he's a young lad. He looked solid today, give him a decent run of games to settle in before even offering a judgement.

You're not allowed to say he didn't play well.
