Was perfectly fine today. People need to remember that before he signed for us he’d barely played a senior professional game. We won’t see anything like his best form for a few months yet, but if what we saw today was where he’s starting his senior career, he’ll do well.

In the England set up so he must have something, I think it will take a few months before we see his best. To say he’s not the answer after a few games is daft

I'm over the moon with the result. I stand by Cirkin didn't have a very good game.
You said on another thread that his passing was very poor, I think you got mixed up with him and Doyle (who I thought was excellent defensively but his passing was poor).

Not the answer .
Only one thing I'm Cirkin of...

You've got problems!

DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!

P.S Please don't delete, this will make fantastic bump material very soon. MADBOB and Morny might have nothing on this one!

As long as the bucket puts some effort in.

I'm not commenting on you. I'm commenting on the OP (but quoting you).

Fair enough. I think he's definitely going to be the answer, an improvement on hume, and goes without saying he's already an improvement on Mcfadzean

Did perfectly well, not a MoM performance but nothing wrong as such. Last season we had McFadzean who had two or three ricketts a game and Hume who was either MoM or shite. So far Cirkin looks like disasters will be rare but he might not stand out that often. For a 19 year old that’s pretty good and he’s going to get better.

Investing long term in young players will bring moments that need to be overlooked, the kid over hit 2 crosses, That's all. Other than that he played well and doesn't look out of place in the team. No need for his performance to be under a microscope.

Apart from his crossing he played well today. Makes a huge difference defensively having a LB that isn't scared of a header.

The lad didn’t do anything wrong today. Yes he misplaced some passes, over hit several crossses. But he didn’t make any defensive mistakes. He definitely didn’t have a great game, however I don’t think you can say he had a bad game.

The lad is just starting to play senior professional football, and infront of 30k fans. It’s going to take time for him to adjust and be confident if his surroundings. He needs games to get used to things here, and we can’t be judging how good/bad he is already ffs! Give him some time.

Very early days for the kid. At least he's not afraid to head the ball. He cleared one heading for the net last game (?) and made a couple of good headed clearances today.

Wasn’t great today but such early days, no need for threads like this

young players take time to settle and will make mistakes
