I’m not saying he won’t be a good player for us and I’m not knocking the lad but in isolation, his cross that he put into the stand at the end under no pressure reminded me of Angeleris debut against Blackburn where he came on and put the ball into the North stand under no pressure. Always good to get a random flashback out of the blue

Not saying it makes anyone shit mate. Just saying in that moment it reminded me of Angeleri with is being his full debut and putting a similar style cross in.

Angeleri went on to play centre back in La Liga anarl.

I think the fact of how highly rated he was at a very good club indicate he will be a cracking player for us. Looking forward to him developing in this team, genuinely optimistic for us now.

Noticed yesterday we were on the attack in the first 10 mins, he was pushed right up the pitch and the ball went out for a goal kick. He started jogging back and Doyle started going nuts at him telling him to sprint back. Needs to get that competitive side into his game. I think he'll be decent given time.

The board is full of wind-up merchants, mags, people that are very opinionated yet don’t go to games etc etc etc. I’ve said it plenty of times before but this message board is no way a true reflection of our fan base.
I agree. Thing is it’s in the public arena, so people will maybe visit, see that, tar is all with that same brush.

Personally think he'll be more than good enough for a team chasing automatic promotion and beyond that too.

There's a reason Spurs fans were gutted he went.

He's had COVID, a tough year with his father dying, has moved up north after living south most of his life, and is 19 years old. That's a lot of external factors that people won't even consider.

Then on the field he's behind in fitness, thrown in at the deep end, trying to learn a system and style of play.

Give him a chance FFS.
Not to mention that he has actually been ok as well.

Don't understand the problem. Yes it hasn't clicked for him in an attacking sense yet but he's solid defensively and doesn't hide. This makes him an automatic upgrade on Hume

He was good defensively, poor crossing today but its about his 4th professional game.

Get a grip.
This for me like, he did the defensive aspect of the role well. Stopped the cross and dealt with things reasonably well

aye his passing was a bit off and was hesitant getting forward but yeah he did the important part of his role well and will settle
