Cirkin back to Spurs?

"The North London club surprisingly let him go and could pull off another shock by bidding to bring him back.

However, that may be part of an elaborate move to sign Dublin-born Cirkin and then sell him soon after to a rival."

Is nixon suggesting spurs want to buy him back, just to sell him again?
That sounds like it. Buy him back for £6m then sell him for £9m+. Suspect a deal might have been lined up.

If Spurs do bid 6-7m in the January window, he will be gone.
It represents millions in profit on a player in under 2 full seasons.
We're a selling club at the right price, the management team have said it often enough.
They have a buyback clause, we wouldn't have a say in the matter.

As a player, i wonder how you'd feel if a club bought only to flog you again the next day. you'd like to think it would make that club look like a set of ***** and stop other players signing for them, but in realiy if they pay nobody will give a fuck i guess

Where did I say we would have a say in the matter?
"We're a selling club at the right price, the management team have said it often enough."

Why say that then? It's irrelevant and doesn't matter what we are or want to do, it wouldn't be our choice.

It's not a buyback clause.
It's a first refusal clause.
It means if we decide to sell we ask them if they're interested first.

I think you're wrong, it was reported as a buy back clause.

You also just questioned where you said we would have a choice when I said we wouldn't have a say. Now you've changed again... clearly haven't got a clue then.

I’d take that, Alese and Hume adequate for his position.

hume the right back who has barely played football outside of northen ireland and barely a season's worth of games across his career, and can't get a game at his natural position ahead of gooch?

Any one of the outfield players, sadly. Not a good performance on Saturday, but then again the opposition was superior to recent opponents.

o'nien for me, and play alese at CB
I would think they more likely want us to buy out the buyback clause.

aye this is probably the right answer like. get some magedia chums to stir up the story they want to buy him, then leak a story about how the buy back clause can be bought for 2m or something

Oh ball off you f***ing dullard.
You're clearly just looking for an argument.

(And yes, I will take the warning from the self appointed moral guardian because I don't come here often and couldn't give a fuck).
