Damn yer right marraLeft back surely? Haven’t seen him play on the right since he’s been here
If somebody wanted him for (say) £10m, Spurs could sign him for £5/6m on the buy back and then make a bit of profit on top for nothing"The North London club surprisingly let him go and could pull off another shock by bidding to bring him back.
However, that may be part of an elaborate move to sign Dublin-born Cirkin and then sell him soon after to a rival."
Is nixon suggesting spurs want to buy him back, just to sell him again?
would need to pay the agent fee of around 5-10%, signing on fee of 10-15% and many other caveats around a deal like that to make it pointless. If somebody wanted him for (say) £10m, Spurs could sign him for £5/6m on the buy back and then make a bit of profit on top for nothing
Be a queer footballer/bloke that would allowed himself to be pimped about like that .If somebody wanted him for (say) £10m, Spurs could sign him for £5/6m on the buy back and then make a bit of profit on top for nothing
to save on fees and slavver on we sell him to the team Spurs had in mind direct and we give Levy 2 millionIf somebody wanted him for (say) £10m, Spurs could sign him for £5/6m on the buy back and then make a bit of profit on top for nothing
Aye but it does not mean he has to go there. Like I said he could do a bit of double bubble on his signing on fees. But if spurs were to bid the 6 needed to trigger it, they would need a buyer from them. So say someone will pay 8 for him, why would that club not just come and offer us 7. Then it would be up to him what one he chooses.Cos Spurs have first refusal.
Yeah that’s what I’m saying in a different post. It would really need him to want the 2 signing on fees, can’t see what would be the point in it for him or the buying club from spurs otherwise they may as well buy direct from usIt wouldn't happen that way would it. Unless he's absolutely stupid as him and his agent have no obligation to go back and would be aware of interest of other clubs so would just cut their own deal elsewhere.
Instant profit for Spurs is just not going to happen. They'd first have to pay the 6m, pay him a decent wage, somehow convince him to go and then pay up his contract on selling.
Depends where he ends up.Be a queer footballer/bloke that would allowed himself to be pimped about like that .
Would just accept both bids and have to hope the lad thinks it’s pointless going back to spurs .to save on fees and slavver on we sell him to the team Spurs had in mind direct and we give Levy 2 million
Selling players is something that we have to get used to. I can see there been meltdowns all over when it happens and Speakman will get absolute pelters. Folk need to understand that it means what we're doing is working, but the big test will be bringing in replacements. It would be a massive tick in the box for ‘the process’ mind.
Buy for less than £1m sell for £6m in less than two seasons.
Kerching!!
Why would he allow spurs to broker him ? There might be circumstances i suppose but seems complicated from his point of view .Depends where he ends up.
Wonder if we were cute enough to have a buy back clause for that great left sided player with loads of potential that we sold to Portsmouth, loads on here absolutely loved him and said he was better than Cirkin anyway . Come back Denver Hume .Pretty sure they’ve got a buyback for around 6m
Money? Why would he allow spurs to broker him ? There might be circumstances i suppose but seems complicated from his point of view .
It was a good deal for us and I would take the money (supposing we have a choice in the matter).Pretty sure they’ve got a buyback for around 6m
