Cirkin back to Spurs?

Likely to go elsewhere if money is a decent motivation as he's unlikely to max it at Spurs given he'll be miles down the pecking order.

Unlikely to be sold for 6m elsewhere, the difference can be shared by parties concerned, especially if they have a buyer and then its double bubble.

Just as a reminder - he's a 20 year old with about 8 Championship games to his name.

As said elsewhere that would mean Spurs would have to pay 6m, convince a player who had to leave for first team football as his path was blocked that he should go back when the same players in his position are there, pay him enough to do that in terms of a signing on fee and wages and then sell him for enough to an interested club to also make it worthwhile settling his contract.

If any other club valued him at that much then they would cut their own deal for him and they'd make it known to him and his agent as its not as if he's done enough to warrant a stupid fee anyway.

Whilst I can see him going back to Spurs at some point there's absolutely no chance its going to happen for a quick sale.

Yea fair point although I'd argue on the no chance, I've seen odder stuff happen.

Leaving out what either of us think he is worth, can spurs pay 20k pw for a young English lad well down the pecking order, easy, thats likely a sizeable upgrade on his current contract.

Easily conceivable theory would be spurs buy for 6, 4 year deal with a 1 1/2 season loan to a foreign club already agreed with loaning club picking up the wage. Spurs gamble he is worth more than that when he comes back and give a sweetener in the margin they believe they'll gain.

Dennis was more than happy to get out of there at the first opportunity. I doubt he'll be in a rush to get back to the U23's at Spurs.

They'd take him for 6m without any intention of playing him, provided they can sell him on for more. Cirkin could of course refuse if he knows what's good for his career

Because they are clearly talented footballers & relatively young
Its all about opinions feel free to disagree

You're suggesting they've developed enough to attract bids from bigger clubs man. They haven't been here five minutes. We're buying extremely young players, taking a gamble. It'll be years, not weeks and a handful of games before bigger clubs than us become interested.

Maybe true but given he left as there was no path to the first team he's not going to rush back just to be sold on if that hasn't changed - he's got no obligation to do that and him and his agent will know his worth and that he can cut his own deal elsewhere.
I’m not so sure. Presumably this would come with a reasonable signing on fee at Spurs, then progression onto another club for another signing on fee and probably an inflated wage package, especially if it’s a lower PL club or one of the newly relegated ones in the championship that are on the parachute payments.

End of the day, it is also the lads livelihood and he could stand to make a lot more money than he would here. Don’t forget he also has no loyalty to us like we do.

if he goes anywhere for 6million not just spurs then we’ve done good business. Our model is about selling players and making a profit
