Cirkin back to Spurs?

"The North London club surprisingly let him go and could pull off another shock by bidding to bring him back.

However, that may be part of an elaborate move to sign Dublin-born Cirkin and then sell him soon after to a rival."

Is nixon suggesting spurs want to buy him back, just to sell him again?
Well I've heard of recalling loans for that reason but activating a buy back clause to sell on is a new one 😂

He will get no where nere the starting 11 thinks its bullshit mind.
But a profit is a profit and alese is doing well thats what the club will be thinking anyway.

At the moment he’s got to regain a starting position with us.

I’m sure he will, but the buy back has got to be pure speculation

Even if he is would you turn down top 4, champions league and a potential wage rise?

The article does suggest they'll look at moving him on for a profit.

If it was back to Spurs to compete for a place then I think he'd be daft not to go for it but if it is just to allow them to make a quick quid then hopefully he sees their interest for what it is and stays

Wouldn't be the first time someone did that.

They could make it worth his while to give him a "signing on bonus" before selling him on I guess. This type of thing is gonna happen, it's why it's good we have Alese and we should still be looking.

Not sure why he’d want to go - he’s not going to get in their first team. He wanted to leave in the first place, he turned down a new contract to play in league one. He’s not going to trade championship football for playing in the under 21s / sitting on the bench in the premier league.

Money is a decent motivation i imagine.

I hope not.

Not a massive surprise. Footballers are assets at the end of the day and if you think he could be sold for more than 6m, it sounds like a reasonable business decision. And if you look at the price tags paid for other reserve players of top 6 teams, you’d think they’d easily double the 6m if some newly promoted team came sniffing

Can't see why Spurs would rush it, he's not ready to push for their first team yet and he needs to play and they would need to offload a couple really to make any sense of it. He's also not going to agree to go there to just be sold on instantly when he could just say no and then negotiate that deal himself elsewhere.

I think it's likely to happen at some point, but I think it would suit all parties to remain as they are at the moment.

Now Alese and his current progression - I wouldn't be surprised to see him grabbing PL clubs attention already.

I'd rather he stayed and we build a side around him, Alese, Ballard, Patto, Clarkey etc but ultimately if the money men think the money is right he'll be off.

He's got huge potential, only 20.

They've got Perisic, Sessegnon, Reguillion and Udogie on the left, and Doherty, Spence and Emerson Royal on the right.

It can only be to sell on, he won't be getting a game if he goes back.
