Cirkin back to Spurs?

…..once we get a reputation for giving young talent a chance the standard of player will increase expernentially
This.
Clubs and players will be queuing up to get a short term career boost for their players or themselves.

Its sorta how Wimbledon rose up through the ranks in the 80s. Non league clubs were begging them to buy their best players with a sell on clause as they knew Wimbledon needed to sell to survive.

The key point will be when we're in a position to reject high offers and when we have more strength in depth. Be interesting to see what we do and how we progress. At some point you'd hope we'd stop being a potential stepping stone and become a destination.

Well the earliest we can win the CL is May 24/25 so I’d say itll be disappointing if it doesn’t happen by then.

I think of them as 30% loan 70% permanent.

We might well own them 'permanently' but if the buy back clauses are so low that they end up returning well below market value its going to be no brainers for the original clubs.

I’ve learned a lot from this thread.
