The Sony channel ones are all the same plot. Man (or woman) due to get married gets sent to a Christmas mad town or village in the middle of nowhere for work and ends up meeting an ex or complete stranger that they fall in love with, an hour and a half of struggling with feelings and then an argument they end up getting together at the end.

Not strictly true - there is also the plot where one of them is in a coma but can talk to the young child of the widow / widower (in the form of an angel). Or something.
