Christmas ghost story

This is a great collection.

Apart from the 2010 one with John Hurt at the end. That was terrible.

Brilliant stuff!

Just as a bonus, with links: a very early go at one of these - a 1954 film society produced a version of Oh Whistle which is quite similar to the Jonathan Miller one with Michael Horden in it. Can watch it at the BFI.

Other things to look out for if you like this sort of thing, and some of which is floating round Youtube is anything by Nigel Kneale. He's well known for the Stone Tapes (well worth a watch) and the Quatermass series, but some of his short stuff like Murrain and Baby are good too.

Lots of great stuff made in the seventies, which was a golden age for this kind of thing, like Exorcism from the BBC series Dead Of Night, or Robin Redbreast, which is a great TV play that was the inspiration for the Wicker Man.
