Christian its all about me speakman

To be fair, after the euphoria of last season, i thought this was a real chance to kick on this season. Unfortunately we've bought In no real experience and quality to the club that we need in vital positions.

Again, no genuine quality striker Brought in as of yet is very concerning given we've needed one for over half a season. For me It screams a sense of ineptitude from the owners and Speakman in general, that something of such importantas a good striker is getting left to the last moments yet again. I get that getting in and building a good young squad may seem like a breath of fresh air especially, in todays climate, but I think if you are pushing to get back to the Premier League, like we are or at least I hope that is the ambition and aim, then we need to buy real genuine quality that will get us there or at least as close as possible.

At this moment in time, it seems a million miles away.
Well name a genuine quality striker who is proven who’s affordable to club one year out of league one ?

The best championship striker I saw last season was Gykores who cost £20.5m.

In my eyes you've got a couple of weeks or admit you've failed and feck off out of the club .
And kld still hasn't convinced me he's actually got a pot to piss in
Interesting. Can’t agree with your comments. On the matter of money however, the club should pay up on Stewart as very good strikers are hard to find…..don’t you know?

Nah, you'll have to explain it. Because as far as I can tell, you're literally offering nothing logical as to whether he's done a good job or not and I have.
Your initial post mentioned promotion as if it was a huge achievement, it wasn't as it was varese minimum expectation.

I've agreed previously that we've brought some promising youngsters in, starting to look like it's built on sand. We had a huge opportunity last season and whilst the team sweated blood to achieve it appears those in charge didn't match them.

Leave him alone man. All he wants is a nice cotton shirt with a collar, to be able to buy things for cash at the stadium and the away fans to comment how envious they are of what a wonderful and thriving city sunderland is. While we are at it why don’t we sign a “box to box midfielder who can get 15 a season” and also a real number 9 who will hit 35 and both will have unanimous loyalty to the club because we are so big and wonderful.

That’s not within Speakmans control. He doesn’t control the budget, he’s there to buy the players within the available budget

Those he has bought have generally been very good. And are worth more than when purchased

We’re really not that far away from McFazdean, Flanagan, Power, Scowen etc time wise
STOP TALKING SENSE!!!

They would appear to be to certain posters on here. Along with Speakman
The manager is just as Teflon as speakman with those who refuse to accept his entire managerial career that has never been able to organise a defence. We are piss poor and wide open as soon as we lose the ball, the coaching off the ball is atrocious. The coaches need to earn their corn as its piss piss poor.

Speakman is not the main issue with signing strikers as much as you keep saying it.

People are going on like sack speakman and we can magically sign gyokeres and archer.
We could of got the quality of the lad that's just scored 3 goals in 2 games for Stoke. A lot of our buys esp UK based have been good but it looks like they have not got a clue how to buy a striker in the price range they have. This is 3 windows where we have needed quality strikers and with 3 weeks to go seem to still to not have a clue.
