Call me a cynic (or whatever else you want) but that makes little sense to me. Feel like if just a case of them signing players for the sake of it so nobody else can get them. Kind of like what Celtic do in Scotland.

Just had a look at their squad on wiki. They don’t seem to have that much batting?

They lost Read,Taylor and Smith.

Billy Root now first choice for them.
