I can just imagine that in John Arlott's voice. It's exactly the sort of thing he would say. I particularly liked his one about Asif Masood's run up, "like Grouch Marx chasing a pretty waitress".

The other good one was about Bob Cunis, the NZ player, "And, as for Cunis, his bowling, like his name, was neither one thing nor the other". :lol:

Think he is getting picked because he is a good all-round cricketer

decent bowler, decent batsmen, world class slip catcher

he is a bits and pieces cricketer.

For me Stokes is the perfect fourth seamer and allrounder, with Ali the same for spin

We need an out and out quick for the third seamer

Got a feeling it will be either Stokes or Ali and bot both though.
 
Seemingly got picked because he used to bowl quickly. Now he limps in like a dog that has just been "fixed" and bowls slower than Jimmy.
