Chris Hughton, IMO, would have been judged to have done a great job if he had been manager of any other team - ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. He seems to be very diplomatic, and honest, and just because the isn't slagging the players off because of their thuggery doesn't mean to say he doesn't privately sort them out. How do you know he's telling them they are doing nothing wrong? A bit naive eh?

Once more, it appears that Newcastle United seem to be more important than our club, because everyone in here are talking about THEM rather than our own club, in almost every thread that has been started recently.

When the criticism of another club ceases, that is when we know they have failed and are beaten. I've supported SAFC for 45 years, and am really not interested in what is going on up the road. The Mags I work with think that our preoccupation with their club by our fans is pathetic, and so do I. And just remember, if (by some miracle), Hughton does get them 7th or above at the end of the season, he has done an equal job to the best result we have had since the premiership started. After all, they already have more points than we finished with in two of the seasons we were relegated. And in spite of having spent around £40 million lass than our Geordie manager, there are only a couple of points between the two teams. Don't make stupid comments that could come back and bite you on the arse at the end of the season.

Don't let NUFC take over your life, concentrate on OUR team, and let the end of the seasons placings give us the bragging rights. The results are the only things that matter. Not pathetic juvenile potentially libellous comments from idiots full of hate.

So you start a thread about Newcastle's manager so you can have a go at Sunderland fans for talking about Newcastle

No, I'm amazed at the preoccupation with Newcastle, and the increasing number of stupid comments. And anyone who didn't have the blinkers on would see that ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, Hughton, if in charge of another club with the problems he has had to deal with and lack of money has performed miracles.

I hope he does well, as long as they end up below us and we beat them shortly. I'd prefer derby matches than them being relegated.

You're so amazed with the preoccupation that you're preoccupied with them yourself.

Two things, don't talk shite, and use a spell checker.

You assume I'm one of them because I don't have the "herd" mentality of the embarrassing w**nkers that make stupid comments on here?

That other bloke that commented about you was right, you are thick.

He hasn't performed miracles. He won the ccc with a team made up of multi-million pound players and has had a good start to the PL. He has done a vvery good job but don't forget the players he is working with, a good few decent players.

A quick look at your history and you have
1) Bigged up Malcolm Macdonald
2) Idolised Gazza
3) Sung the praises of Hughton
4) Had a go at Bob Murray/Howard Wilkinson
5) Slated SAFC fans
6) Didn't go to the game yesterday because you "had the lurgy" and then started a thread slagging the empty seats
7) The second time you have started such a thread
8) Out of 46 posts, 28 have been NUFC related

Forgive me if I believe that you are "one of them" and also forgive me if I can't give support to a manager who sends his players out to intimidate and assault fellow professionals
