Except his first solo album, Euphoria Morning, which is awesome. Probably his best vocal performances of anything he's ever recorded, and the songs are excellent too.

Outstanding album from beginning to end!



Correction, he HAD a great voice in the 90s. It's shot to bits now unfortunately.

Don't be ridiculous his voice is amazing! He sang acoustic for over 2 hours and didn't even take a sip of water.

Great gig. His version of U2's One with the lyrics to Metallica's One was f***ing brilliant!

His voice is still very good compared with most rock vocalists out there, but it was miles better in the Superunknown-to-Euphoria-Morning period than it is now.

Glad you enjoyed the gig though, CC is one of my favourite vocalists and Soundgarden are still one of my favourite bands.

Euphoria morning is quality

Have you heard Adam Lambert's song "Time For Miracles"? Written by the same people that wrote Euphoria Morning with Chris Cornell just before one of them died of cancer and recorded by Lambert later for the 2012 movie soundtrack.

You can totally tell it's the same writers. Wouldn't be a million miles out of place on Euphoria Morning. The cancer link adds a heartbreaking edge to it too.
