Seems a nice bloke, but tatically inept unfortunately. Once again a manager who talks a good game but ultimately lacking where it really matters. This January window is absolutely key if we want any chance of staying up.
You talking about Benitez?

Wrong forum - you're talking about rafa and the mags.

P.s. just seen previous post - apologies- point already made.

New Year and is it just me who thinks we really do have the right man in charge? Everything he says just seems to tick the boxes in my eyes, he aurora around the place is just positive and wanting to improve everything.

The club have been criticised and deservedly so for the decisions they have made but appointing him was beyond my expectations, the club need to stick by him and let him rebuild from the bottom to the top and I’m more than confident he can stabilise us and kick us on, hopefully 2018 is a year we can look back on and say this is where the rot stopped and we regained our footing.

Haway the Lads and keep the faith!

Definitely not ‘just you’. Think almost all fans are behind him. You’ll obviously get the odd dick head like.

No matter what happens, his attitude when arriving to this shitshow is a model of what to do.

Positivity, commitment, mood. Even if you have nothing else, it’s amazing what you can do for people with a bit of that. It’s just a happier place and that can slowly start sowing something.

Amazing you could rise to a senior management position (like the manager of a PL football club) and be totally deaf to that.

Everyone wants to take a shot at the club and I understand that, but getting him in is a master stroke, whoever went after him needs a pat on the back because he oozes confidence and got the fans back onside

If he’d have walked in last summer when Moyes did, we’d still be in the Premier League, all that team needed was motivating and given some fight, Moyes drained that out of them from the very off
