One in Fulwell and the Singapore curry special they do. Bog roll in the fridge for tomorrow and tonight you will thank them for the pineapple they put in.

Utterly lush

Seem to be harder to find decent ones. Used to like the one opposite The Chesters and the one on Sea Road but seem to be going downhill like.

IMHO The East Garden is now too busy/popular for it's own good.

We ordered a selection of dishes on the phone a couple of months ago and we found out late on the night when we opened them that they'd given us somebody else's order. She said when she got there the place had been rammed with punters.

Fair enough, a mistake, but that was two sets of people's dinners spoiled. I ate and enjoyed my wrong meal but our lass and my mother were disappointed.

I Phoned up to tell them the next day and was told that yes, someone else had also rang up, but the lass who'd served us wouldn't be on the counter for another couple of weeks, but she would give us a couple of free meals if we came back then.

Not really good enough, I think.

Have had a similar experience there. Last time they forgot the curry sauce for pregnant wife's meal. Would have been less painful to stab me sack with an icepick.

However, the food is good and it gives the screaming skull/egg on legs something to have a moan about now and again.

How strange. Saw this happen twice while I waited 40 mins for some food. Made me check it was correct there. It wasn't and someone who'd ordered later had already taken my order. The food is fine usually but they don't seem very focussed.

was areet like, she also got king prawn chicken chow mein and ribs, far too much

Me mate from up that way gives the place a right slating but places change.

Also happened to me.....on three occasions now. Didn't the council also rate them as substandard???
