I think we were linked with that Zouma in the summer window just gone. IIRC he was rumoured to be coming on loan, he looks a fantastic prospect like. He has pace looks canny in the air and didn't seem to get too fazed for such a young lad in a big game. Mind he's no Coates like.

Gutted. Devastated. The best result all round for everyone else in the country would have been Liverpool v Sheffield United. It is now looking likely it is Chelsea v Tottenham. Can't see Sheffield beating Spurs.

The best part of last years final for me was something we will not see this year. Legions of excited fans travelling hundreds of miles down the country to London to the famous Wembley Stadium and being in awe of it. It is all part of the occasion. Yes it took about 5 hours but every second was spent excited and nervous all at the same time. To get from Stamford Bridge to Wembley will only, according to Google Maps, take about 36 minutes. But unlike us, Chelsea fans can go direct from their homes which could be between the two stadiums which will mean less travelling. Similarly with Spurs fans. To get from White Hart Lane to Wembley will take less than an hour. Less if they live between the two stadiums.

Having two huge PL teams is one thing, but when they both reside in London then it loses some of the magic of a cup which is built for a David v Goliath encounter between clubs far away from London.

Delighted Liverpool are out. I could just imagine a Spurs/Sheffield Utd v Liverpool build up on Sky consisting of 3 hours of telling us about Steven Gerrard and how he deserves this fitting send off and the usual wank fest over him. Couldn't help but laugh at Jose me, way he went on last night man :D Love him me like, legend. I can't help but respect him.
