I had actually looked at that one and thought it sounds lovely. What variety of pear do you use?I use Larder Love sweet and sour pickled pear recipe. Yummy, especially with some Stilton.

Bought a nice sheeps brie and some Cornish yarg today.
All cheese is mouldy marra. That's what it is. Mouldy milk.I'm basic when it comes to cheese.
Red Leicester or mild cheddar to eat on sarnies or crackers.
Mature cheddar mixed with red Leicester if I'm having a quiche.
I don't mind a bit of edam now and again.
I like double Gloucester.
Not too keen on the crumblies like Cheshire or Wensleydale and whatnot.
As for mouldy cheese.... forget it.

See I thought it smelt stronger than it tasted. Just in from pub now and eating a lovely bit of emmental on toast. Never tried pont l'eveque, but going to look out for it for a tryi dont mind it but feel it doesnt live up to its billing ie smells stronger than it tates
