Smith said at the time the leadership group discussed it, Bancroft said he overhead something being discussed and became involved and now there's talk that Smith only heard about it on the way out to field and said he wanted nothing to do with it.

They can't even get their stories straight ffs.

Interesting that it has been said that it was an isolated incident but Sutherland fudged the question when asked if it had happened before.

As much as I am loving seeing the Aussies in turmoil, I cannot abide that twat Roan. There’s simply no need for him to be carrying on like that, he’s supposed to be representing the British state broadcaster, not the gutter press. I want them to be grilled and have the book thrown at them, but who does he think he is. A self righteous, jumped up arsehole and he’s just as bad as the people he’s harassing there. I’ve not forgotten the way he carried on over the Di Canio appointment either.

And the roll of sandpaper in the team toilet is only to deal with severe Klingons.

Things that make even less sense than before:

1) Is the "leadership group" (that Smith referred to) really just himself and Warner?

2) How did none of the bowlers know?

3) How could Lehmann possibly not have known?

4) If he didn't know, which the urgent contact with (non bowler) Bancroft ?

5) If he didnknow, why hasn't he been sacked anyway for incompetence (not being in control of his team and captain)?

It's a gloss job.

What have the Indians said about it all? Wouldn't be surprised to see IPL deals terminated - probably should be really.

Staying very quiet. Just said they'll wait for CA decision. Big moment for them imo. Ban them and they'll improve their image and that of the IPL. If they don't then the opposite will happen.
 
I would say 10% of the truth has come out so far. so much that doesn' add up.

I would also suggest the Aussies aren't the only ones upto these tricks.

question is how much will come out and who will it implicate or make scapegoat of. must be several players set to be banned for multiple years.
