Charity Event

I'm holding a charity event this weekend in memory of my grandad to raise money for Cancer Research UK and I was wondering if there was anywhere I'd be able to advertise this through a post on one of the boards?

Not sure if this would be allowed or not but thought I'd ask, no harm in that!

You can post on the main SMB forum providing any money collected is paid direct to the charity or through an escrow service like justgiving.com

See the paragraph in the forum rules:

Due to fraud and fradulent use of funds, you may not use the forums to raise money or request donations for any reason without explicit permission from RTG. The exceptions to this are when money is to be sent directly to a registered charity, or via an escrow company such as justgiving.com or virginmoneygiving.com. Other funding sites where the money does not go directly to a charity (such as gofundme or gogetfunding) are expressly forbidden
