Chaotic trains

It’s a game we play, ever since he told me he’d never respond to any more of my posts after I showed him to be a liar. Of course he immediately did so I’m disinclined to respond to any of his posts apart from telling him he’s dead to me, which as you can see he hates. Quite why he responds to any of my posts is something only he can explain.

I don’t hate it. It’s hilarious when you show yourself up like this. Please, keep doing it

I'd be taking any excuse to extend my stay in Edinburgh. Could you get away with staying overnight? Absolutely love the place. It has its problems but there are some top top pubs and restaurants there.

Wouldve love to but had dogs to pick up and other places to go

Hopefully this will dissuade you from voting Conservative in future
This. A new government just needs to nationalise these piss taking operators. Many are the Nationalised railways of other countries which use the British public to subsidise their own much better services.

Systemic breakdown of public transport under the government’s watch IMO.
On principle I'd probably agree with you deadboy. However, I'm on a train virtually every day in the North East and the vast majority of issues come from things outside of train operators control - weather, cows, suicides, people nicking line. Be interesting to know how much it would cost any government to invest in infrastructure to "fix" these issues.

The trains in the north east are ok, until people decide they want to get on them, then they’re rubbish.

Deadboy

Oh I don’t doubt that one bit, but my argument would be the resilience of the rail infrastructure is poorer through systemic mismanagement from govt.

I don’t blame them for the weather, cows or thievery etc.
Dead dead dead

Still doing what I tell you, good lad.

What would you like TPE to do about the weather?
Fair enough excuse on Friday but they've cancelled more than 1,000 trains recently, second worst on the list was around 200
Train with TPE on Friday was cancelled with 6 hours notice, rebooked for later in the day and that was 55 minutes delayed. The only positive is that they’ve already refunded me.

Shit thing about being in Manchester is all the train lines serving it are shit: TPE, Avanti and northern can be awful
My TPE on Friday rocked up 20 minutes late then when we got on we were told it was cancelled, got to Leeds 3 hours late

Maybe not, I don't know. But some drivers do on some trains when they know there is overcrowding. Unless it is against protocol to make announcements for safety reasons, anybody who is an employee and simply cannot be bothered to is part of the block to solving these types of problems.
The announcement you hear will be from the conductor. As a driver I've got a bit more to worry about than if Dave and Karen are a bit squished coz someone can't be bothered to move. It's hardly being part of the problem. You've got a brain I'm assuming just ask people to move down. If I'm working an 8 carriage train and the conductor is at the back and can't get thru because it's busy it's not their fault is it. Cmom man it's clear some passengers coz the issues themselves and some do so deliberately.
